We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage all aspects of sanitation operations during the third shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety regulations. This role requires a strong leader who can work independently, make critical decisions, and effectively manage a team during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities:
As a 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the overall sanitation operations during the third shift, ensuring all areas of the manufacturing facility meet or exceed regulatory and company standards for cleanliness and safety.
2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining sanitation protocols and procedures in line with GMPs and food safety regulations.
3. Training, supervising, and evaluating sanitation staff to ensure they are following all protocols and procedures correctly.
4. Conducting regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement in sanitation.
5. Collaborating with other department managers to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the facility.
6. Responding promptly and effectively to any sanitation emergencies or issues that arise during the third shift.
7. Maintaining accurate records of all sanitation activities and providing regular reports to upper management.
8. Staying updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to sanitation and food safety.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a leadership or management position.
2. Thorough knowledge of GMPs, food safety regulations, and sanitation protocols and procedures.
3. Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-peak hours.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to sanitation emergencies or issues.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and provide regular reports.
7. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in a manufacturing facility.
8. Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to sanitation and food safety.
