Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Intervention: Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide one-on-one support to clients to address behavioral, social, and communication challenges.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on clients' behaviors and progress. Monitor and document changes to ensure effective treatment and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Skill Development: Assist clients in developing essential skills, including communication, social interactions, and daily living activities. Use evidence-based techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavioral improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with BCBA supervisors, educators, and family members to ensure cohesive and effective support. Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjustments to intervention plans.
  • Client Support: Provide compassionate and consistent support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Address any immediate behavioral concerns and provide feedback to enhance client outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and maintain certification.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Active RBT certification is required. Completion of relevant coursework and supervised experience in behavior analysis is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with ABA principles and practices is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Approach: A client-centered approach with a focus on providing high-quality, individualized care to support positive outcomes.
