One of our clients is offering a 3-4 week contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk located in Livermore, California.

Responsibilities:


• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

• Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.

• Conducting account reconciliation tasks for customer and business accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting tasks.

• Managing and processing customer billing, ensuring all charges are accurate and dispatched in a timely manner.

• Calculating and processing sales tax for relevant transactions.

• Monitoring customer accounts and undertaking necessary actions based on account status.

• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards in all tasks.

• Collaborating with team members to achieve finance department goals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Experience in billing and invoice processing is required

• Must demonstrate strong data entry skills

• Knowledge of sales tax procedures and regulations is essential

• Previous experience in an accounting or financial role is preferred

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail are required

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Open to recent college graduate
