CNC Machinist/EDM Grinding Technician

Are you an experienced Grinding Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to our high standards of quality and safety. • Position Type: Full-Time; Temp to Perm

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM -3:30PM

• Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30043

• Pay: 20-24 per hour (based on experience)

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule work, ensuring optimal equipment setup using precision measuring devices, machine attachments, and fixtures.

• Grind tools and dies to specified dimensions, adjusting controls for precise cuts using grinders.

• Compute dimensions, widths, and angles of cutting tools using micrometers, scales, and gauges, making necessary adjustments to achieve accuracy.

• Remove, dress, and install grinding wheels, applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.

Key Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.

• Inspection experience with the ability to use precision measuring devices for quality control.

• Knowledge of health and safety measures in an industrial setting.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

• Flexibility with shift work.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 3 years of grinding experience.

• Journeyman Certification in Grinding is a plus.

• Experience working with Amada Profile Grinding machines is a plus.

Pay Details: 20.00 to 24.00 per hour
