Responsibilities- Set up and operate precision CNC High-Speed Milling machines, adhering to approved and safe work procedures.
- Plan and schedule work, setting up equipment and tools, using various devices, machine attachments, and fixtures.
- Machine precision steel parts and electrodes from copper and graphite.
- Ensure conformance to specifications using CMM, height gages, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices to adjust tools and produce drawing-specified dimensions.
- Evaluate results and quality to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Complete work orders, associated documents, and labor as required.
- Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, minimizing downtime, and following manufacturer's instructions.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must be highly organized and thorough, following all procedures for quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management to meet deadlines.
- Basic CAM knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Inspection experience and ability to use precision measuring devices for overall quality.
- Knowledge of proper Health and Safety measures.
- Desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Flexible with rotating shift work.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ Years' Experience in High-Speed Milling.
- Journeyman Certification a Plus.
- Experience on Mikron High-Speed Milling machines a Plus.
Duration: Temporary to Permanent.
Location: Lawrenceville, GA.
Salary: $27-28/Hr. Depending on Experience.
Shift: 2nd (2pm-10:30pm).
