In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our company, playing a critical role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for visitors and callers. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for the company, greeting and welcoming visitors professionally
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a positive impression
• Utilize your skills in answering inbound calls to direct phone calls in a timely and polite manner
• Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings effectively
• Provide information to visitors and callers as needed, utilizing your excellent customer service skills
• Assist with administrative tasks, including computer data entry, filing, and photocopying
• Support other departments with various tasks as required
• Ensure compliance with security procedures by monitoring visitor access.• Proficiency in performing receptionist duties including handling incoming calls and customer queries
• Demonstrated ability in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing high-quality support
• Solid experience with computer data entry and ability to quickly learn new systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
• Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
