Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the service industry located in Boca Raton, Florida. This role will play a key part in managing and resolving customer's credit issues, maintaining precise customer credit records, and processing customer credit applications using specific software tools.

Responsibilities:
• Handle customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of customer credit.
• Manage customer accounts and respond appropriately to any arising issues.
• Use Lawson and Salesforce to document relevant information.
• Address customer inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Assist in reducing the backlog of collections.
• Employ your experience in Billing Collection and Commercial Collections to improve our processes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operation of the collections department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to collections.
• Act proactively to prevent issues that could affect the customer's credit status.• Proficient in billing and collections processes, ideally within the commercial sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume of outstanding debts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and resolve payment issues.
• Strong analytical ability, with a focus on identifying trends and issues in payment patterns and proposing solutions.
• Solid understanding of relevant legal and regulatory guidelines related to collections.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in using databases and spreadsheets.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
