Proctoring Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proctoring Specialist to join our team at Best of Dade County. This part-time position involves ensuring students with disabilities receive their approved accommodations while maintaining academic integrity in the testing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer exams for students with disabilities who have approved testing accommodations.
• Maintain a secure testing environment, conducting regular security checks and utilizing exam monitoring software.
• Manage admission and exit procedures, communicating with faculty regarding exam administration instructions.
• Report any irregularities or violations of academic integrity to SAS staff.
• Provide technical support related to technology used in the Testing Center.
• Promote a distraction-free environment, explaining exam expectations to test takers.
• Prepare, distribute, and collect all testing materials, preserving confidentiality of student information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with solid judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in basic software applications and iPad systems.
• Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods during exam administrations.

Compensation: $18-20 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
