Location: Des Moines, IA (50309) will be relocating to West Des Moines (50266) in late 2024
Hours:
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (100% in-office)
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (100% in-office) Will assist with shipping loan packets
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Job Type: Temporary contract up to 24 months with intent to convert to Perm

Join a Fortune 500 company and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to transition into the banking industry. As a Post-Close Loan Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing post-close mortgage tasks, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accuracy in a high-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile fees, research databases, and collaborate with settlement agents to ensure loan accuracy.
• Perform shipping processes, including handling paper documents and conducting net reviews of mortgage files.
• Manage sensitive documentation and utilize tools such as loan prep/onboarding systems, CORE, and county assessor sites.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external professionals via email.
Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality.
• MS Excel -Intermediate with strong reconciliation
• Office experience in loans, banking, insurance, accounting or mortgages preferred.
• Will consider a Bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience.
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to long-term opportunities.
