Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating lasers to cut a variety of flat sheet alloys. This role involves adjusting laser power and assist gas pressures, and knowledge of CNC codes and programming is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate lasers to cut a variety of flat sheet alloys.
  • Adjust laser power and assist gas pressures as needed.
  • Read and interpret prints and geometric tolerances.
  • Maintain full understanding of how geometric tolerances relate to the finished part.
  • Operate Trumpf lasers (experience preferred).
Essential Skills
  • Experience with laser operation.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read and understand prints and geometric tolerances.
  • Understanding of CNC codes and programming.
  • Experience with press brake operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a Laser Operator or Machine Operator.
  • Knowledge of laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Experience with Trumpf lasers is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00
