As a Medical Assembler, you will work primarily in a cleanroom environment starting in the coiling department. You will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical components such as stents, catheters, and leads. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work with small parts and tools under a microscope.

Responsibilities
  • Work with coil winding machines to wrap coils around spindles.
  • Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes about 30-50% of the day.
  • Sit and stand for 8-hour shifts, as required by the coiling process.
  • Cross-train in various assembly areas after initial training period (1-2 weeks).
  • In the Molding Area: inspect, deburr parts, and use tools such as pliers, filers, and knives.
  • In the CEA Assembly Areas: work off travelers/work instructions and use small hand tools to perform assemblies with and without microscopes.
  • In the Laser Welding Area: operate laser welding machines and microscopes to weld small medical components.
  • In the Implantable Housings Area: work with automated presses and stamping machines, inspect and deburr parts, and use microscopes up to 50% of the day.
Essential Skills
  • 4-6+ months of medical manufacturing or small part experience.
  • 4-6+ months of microscope experience.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Proficiency in using small hand tools such as tweezers, pliers, and filers.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78
