We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Kitchen Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast restaurant. This role is ideal for a hands-on manager who thrives in an energetic breakfast setting and enjoys leading a dedicated kitchen team. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations, maintaining high food quality and safety standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient service. This position offers early hours with no late nights, providing an excellent work-life balance for culinary professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation, to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure timely and efficient service during peak breakfast and brunch hours.
  • Monitor food costs and portion control to achieve profitability targets.
  • Implement and uphold kitchen policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Handle any kitchen issues that arise, including equipment maintenance and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant, preferably with breakfast or brunch experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends, with no late nights required.
  • Must be bi-lingual
