Inventory Management Specialist

Responsibilities of the Inventory Management Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Support DXP's Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program
- Monitoring inventory levels and lead times for items daily
- Ordering items that fall below minimum inventory levels
- Setting order points for VMI items
- Delivering and stocking products at customer facilities
- Coordinating with DXP's sales team on substitute items
- Keeping accurate counts of inventory at customer locations
- Maintaining vending equipment at account facilities
- Customer relations
Qualifications of the Inventory Management Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Ambitious and serious about starting your career
- Working computer knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Able to follow procedures
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Strong customer orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- College degree preferred but not required
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

Working Conditions: Office and warehouse

Shift Time/Overtime: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Education: High School Diploma or GED
