We are in search of a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Manchester NH, New Hampshire, 03103, United States. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be involved in various customer-oriented tasks including processing applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is pivotal in enhancing our customer services.


Responsibilities:


• Engage in outbound and follow up calls to both potential and existing patients to drive appointments and clinic revenue

• Greet patients and gather potential referrals, while keeping abreast with current marketing promotions

• Accurately perform data entry and schedule appointments using company scheduling protocols and internal scheduling database software

• Manage office supply inventory as per company approved lists, ensuring the office is always patient-ready

• Oversee petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions to maintain accurate account records

• Maintain inventory of hearing aids

• Collaborate directly with patients to collect all insurance documentation while staying updated with current HIPAA laws


• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in healthcare coordination
• Experience in handling inbound calls in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
• Ability to understand and explain medical benefits to patients
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols
• Prior experience in a medical front office role
• Familiarity with patient medical records and their appropriate handling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in the healthcare industry.
