Behavioral Technician Position | $24/Hour | School District | Hercules to El Cerrito, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Technician to join a supportive school district between Hercules and El Cerrito, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Overview:
  • Hourly Rate: $24 per hour
  • Work Hours: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Location: School district from Hercules to El Cerrito, CA

As a Behavioral Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting students with behavioral needs. This is your chance to directly impact their lives by helping implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), track student progress, and support their emotional and academic development. Core Responsibilities:
  • Implement Behavior Plans: Carry out individualized BIPs created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), providing direct behavioral support to students.
  • Monitor & Record Progress: Collect, analyze, and document data on student behaviors to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with educators, counselors, and school staff to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide Direct Support: Assist students in developing critical life skills like communication, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors.
  • Encourage Positive Behaviors: Reinforce and celebrate positive behaviors while helping students achieve their academic and behavioral goals.
