Job Overview

As a School CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct support to special education teachers in various school settings. Your primary focus will be on assisting students with behavioral management techniques, working one-to-one or in small groups, and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

About the Position

Hiring Now: We are actively seeking a qualified CNA to fill this opening in August 2024, with a guaranteed minimum of 32-37.5 hours per week. The assignment length is from August 2024 to June 2025.

The ideal candidate will have an active or inactive CNA license, previous experience as a paraprofessional or registered behavior technician, and the ability to pass a drug/background check.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct classroom support to assigned Special Education teacher
  • Assist students with behavioral management techniques throughout the day as needed
  • Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings with student(s) in assigned caseload
Qualifications
  • Active or inactive CNA license
  • Previous school paraprofessional or registered behavior technician experience preferred
  • Must provide 2 professional references and pass drug/background check

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $24 per hour, negotiable and discussed further during the hiring process. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance benefits and guaranteed hours.
