Paraprofessional

Are you a compassionate Paraprofessional looking for a new and rewarding opportunity to start off the year 2025? ProCare Therapy is currently searching for a Paraprofessional to join one of our trusted school districts located in the welcoming community of Melrose Park, IL. This position involves working directly with students in a variety of academic, behavioral, and social settings to help them achieve their educational goals.

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • ASAP start - May 23, 2025
  • 1:1 with a kiddo with behavioral needs
    • Goal is to integrate student into general education
  • Behavior experience required
    • Ideal candidate will be experienced with behaviors, data, and assisting in following a behavior plan
  • In-person position only

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • PEL
  • Behavior experience
  • Comfortable with toileting, feeding, and lifting if asked to do so
  • Experience working with disabilities and behaviors is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass a drug test and a background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
