Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Houston, Texas. This role is set within a hybrid working environment, bringing together the benefits of both remote and office-based work. The job function revolves around providing administrative support for project management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of administrative details.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide administrative support for project management, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Compose, proof, and assemble reports, ensuring grammar, punctuation, and spelling standards are maintained
• Serve as a liaison between project line managers and administrative departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, and prepare charts for design review
• Review expenditures and prepare reports detailing overs and shorts against the plan
• Maintain and verify records such as man-hours, pay rates, and time sheets
• Use project management tools like JIRA and Sharepoint to manage and track project progress
• Assist in the coordination of human resource functions and duties that require access to confidential information
• Assign and coordinate the work of other office administrative and clerical staff, ensuring staff members are adequately trained
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project management fundamentals phases and deliverables per phase.• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with office administration and clerical duties
• Proficient in planning and coordination of projects
• Knowledge of human resources administration
• Ability to create presentations and prepare reports
• Familiarity with budgeting and expenditure management
• Experience in materials handling and layout design
• Proficient in typing and other office functions
• Ability to review project deliverables for quality assurance
• Experience with project management tools such as Atlassian Jira
• Ability to create charts and graphs for data visualization
• Experience in managing project time sheets
• Ability to serve as a liaison between different project stakeholders
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
