Job Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 23/24 school year near theAmarillo, TX area. The SLP will provide services to students with speech and language disorders in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, possess excellent munication skills, and be passionate about helping children succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine the nature and extent of students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide therapy to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' speech and language development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide remendations for students' educational needs
  • Maintain accurate and plete records on student evaluations and services provided
  • municate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Texas state license in Speech Language Pathology
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a School Speech Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing special education
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
