Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide services to students with speech and language disorders in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, possess excellent communication skills, and be passionate about helping children succeed.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the nature and extent of students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs
  • Provide therapy to students individually or in small groups, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' speech and language development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for students' educational needs
  • Maintain accurate and complete records on student evaluations and services provided
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Texas state license in Speech Language Pathology
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a School Speech Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing special education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
