LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting a Labor and Employment Legal Assistant for a law firm client in Portland, OR. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment after the first 60 days.

The L&E Legal Assistant will provide administrative assistance, including managing correspondence and calendars, editing legal documents, preparing e-filings, and ensuring deadlines are met. This role requires at last 3 years of legal administrative experience. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive company with professional development and training.

 

Responsibilities:

· Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys

· Prepare pleadings and court filings for electronic filing in statewide courts

· Schedule and monitor attorney calendars and keep apprised of approaching deadlines

· Enter attorney’s time entries in billing software and manage client invoices

· Draft and proofread correspondences

· Proofread and edit documents and ensure deadlines are met

· Maintain client files

 

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent required

· Minimum 3 years of legal administrative experience

· Must have Oregon Labor and Employment

· Professional communication skills

· Basic understanding of accounting preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize matters
