Surgical Technologist - OR Cardiac Thoracic Transplant
Location: Madison, WI
Shift: Day/Evening

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the Cardiac Thoracic Transplant team in Madison, Wisconsin. If you're experienced in plex surgeries and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career while making a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms for cardiac and thoracic transplant surgeries, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
  • Assist surgeons during transplant procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing necessary instruments.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and successful operations.
  • Adhere to all OR protocols and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
  • Track and maintain surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgeries.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR, specifically with cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
  • BLS certification (preferred but not required).
  • Strong munication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during high-stress, plex surgeries.
Schedule:
  • Full-time, day/evening shifts.
  • On-call rotation for weekends and holidays may be required.
