Job Description:
Join our team as an Online TVI, providing remote support and instruction to elementary-aged children with visual impairments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote assessments of students' visual needs.

  • Plan and execute engaging lessons via virtual platforms.

  • Integrate Braille literacy and assistive tools into the curriculum.

  • Work closely with school teams to ensure effective learning.

  • Track and report progress in line with IEP goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Visually Impaired from an accredited institution.

  • Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with visual impairments, with remote teaching experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with school teams remotely.

  • Proficiency in using tele-education platforms and technology for remote service delivery.

This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States.
