Resource Employment Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for a client in Covington, GA. Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working as an Inventory Control Specialist in a fast-paced warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee will be responsible for counting and reconciling inventory part counts. This will entail but not limited to, researching, investigating, and asking key people in the search for an accurate count. Also tallying up counts and updating our operating system. Our client is looking for a punctual, communicative, diligent, and a detail-oriented person.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Unpack, and consolidate/replenish items as necessary, labels shelves.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff.
  • Processes and document returns as required following established procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist pickers with missing items

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Operate Cherry Picker
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel a must

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout long periods of the day.
  • Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise.
  • Push and pulling pallets and lifting products.
  • Physical strength to handle up to 50+ pound object, frequently.
  • Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.

SHIFT/HOURS AND PAY:
  • Monday -Friday 6am-3pm
  • Monday -Friday 8am-5:30pm
  • Starting Pay $21/HR
