Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join one of our clients on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both accounts payable and accounts receivable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  • Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy.

  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to AP and AR transactions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and customer records.

  • Generate and distribute financial reports related to AP and AR activities.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to resolve issues and discrepancies effectively.
