We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Minnesota as a fully remote contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing full cycle payroll processes for a large number of employees across multiple states. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the service industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the bi-weekly payroll processes for approximately 290 employees across multiple states.
• Use Paycom and UKG Pro for payroll processing and other related tasks.
• Manage W-2 forms for all employees.
• Work with Benefit Functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze payroll data.
• Operate HRIS Payroll System to manage payroll information.
• Handle payroll taxes and other related accounts payable tasks.
• Leverage your skills in full cycle payroll and bi-monthly payroll for effective and efficient payroll operations.
• Ensure compliance with state laws for multi-state payroll operations
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a payroll specialist role or similar
• Proficiency in Paycom and HRIS Payroll System
• Experience with full cycle payroll and bi-Monthly Payroll processing
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll and multistate payroll procedures
• Familiarity with benefits payroll and benefit functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and UKG Pro
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
