Punch Press Operator

Paying $22 / HR - $27 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Run stamping and press equipment in a fabrication environment.
  • Set up dies, verify they are in good condition, and make any adjustments needed to pressure and placement at the computer controller.
  • Check for quality, verify parts are meeting quality standards with precision measuring devices during initial set-up and throughout production runs.
  • Load materials and keep the machine ready to run parts.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with dies or their ability to run uncorrupted with die maintenance team.

Qualifications:

  • Progressive die or stamping experience is a plus.
  • CMM and/or inspection experience with high tolerance parts.
  • Experience maintaining dies or progressive dies.
  • Experience suing CNC or computer controllers to make adjustments to equipment.

  • Day shift: 4:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
  • Swing shift: 2:30pm - 1:00am, Monday through Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
