Machine Operator – Drill Press/CNC – Weekly Pay - $24.31/HR

 

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC/Drill Press Machine Operator to operate and maintain our CNC machines and drill presses. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating these machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Location: Valley, NE

Pay: $24.31/HR

Shift: Monday – Friday (7am – 3pm)

Key Responsibilities:

·        Set up and operate CNC machines and drill presses to perform precision machining operations.

·        Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.

·        Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of produced parts.

·        Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.

·        Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

·        Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

·        Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or related field preferred.

·        Proven experience as a CNC/Drill Press Machine Operator.

·        Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

·        Familiarity with various machining tools and equipment.

·        Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Strong communication and organizational skills.

·        Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.31 - $24.31

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
