Machinist Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced Machinist Craftsman to join our team at Kooima Company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating mills and lathes, with the ability to build and maintain machine tooling and fixtures.

• Maintain punch press tooling and equipment
• Build and maintain machine tooling and fixtures
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly

A successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or tech school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or education in operating mills and lathes.
• Ability to read work orders and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to learn new things quickly.
