Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Food Services Worker to join our team in the kitchen of a hospital. This role involves preparing and cooking food in a high-volume environment, ensuring that patients, staff, and visitors receive high-quality meals.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and dietary requirements.
- Measure, cut, and portion ingredients accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and visitors.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Food preparation experience
- Volume cooking experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- 2+ years of volume cooking experience
- Excellent customer service skills

Work EnvironmentThis position is located in the Nutritional Services department of a hospital. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards. The role involves working with kitchen equipment and handling food in a high-volume setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
