PeopleReady of Baltimore, MD is now hiring Food Service Workers for a local correctional facility in Washington, DC This is a full-time temp-to-hire position.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Food Service Worker:

  • Prepare various foods for cooking according to instructions
  • Receive and store food supplies and equipment
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Store food in designated containers and storage areas
  • Record temperatures in storage areas to ensure compliance with health codes

Available Shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

Job Requirements:

  • Prior food prep or cooking experience is preferred
  • Basic math skills are needed
  • A valid food handler's card or ServSafe certification maybe required; PeopleReady will assist with this training
  • Extensive background check, TB Screening, and drug test required
