The EH&S Risk Manager is a key leadership position tasked with creating, executing, and overseeing the organization's safety and risk management initiatives. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, mitigating potential risks, and promoting a strong culture of safety awareness throughout the company.

EH&S Risk Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify potential hazards and identify potential risks related to construction and manufacturing operations
  • Establish protocols and preventative strategies to reduce the likelihood of accidents and injuries
  • Collaborate with management and employees to ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Use data-driven insights to track performance and make improvements as needed
  • Lead incident investigations and oversee hazard assessment activities
  • Support regulatory and customer inspections by providing necessary documentation and addressing requests
  • Ensure recordkeeping for SDS, COIs, OSHA logs, and WC Claims
  • Develop annual safety and health plans, including budget allocation

EH&S Risk Manager Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety Management or Engineering or similar
  • Exceptional knowledge of OSHA regulations, reporting and best practices
  • Extensive experience in risk management and safety in a construction or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to one week per month
  • Valid DL and US Passport required
