Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Work closely with the production team to understand maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Install new manufacturing equipment and ensure its proper function and integration into the existing system.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for all equipment and machinery.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to improve operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers as needed for parts replacement and machinery upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and PLC controls is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be available for on-call work as needed to address urgent maintenance issues.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (e.g., heights, confined spaces).
