PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to help maintain and optimize our client’s advanced assembly and packaging equipment. Located in Northeast Philadelphia, this is your opportunity to join a prominent client’s team. Apply now while positions are available and start your career with us

  • Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and rotating 12 hour available

  • Pay: 30.90

  • Contract Length: Will convert at 90 days to permanent employee (union)

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform minor repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustments on automated equipment.

  • Describe machine controls and their functions, and identify safety devices and emergency switches on all lines and equipment.

  • Verify your understanding of all safety procedures and operate equipment where trained.

  • Manage the start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures for machinery.

  • Select proper tools for machine adjustments and ensure you have the required level of reading comprehension.

  • Prepare lines for daily production, verify components, and interface with on-line computers.

  • Perform minor changeovers and preventive maintenance tasks as needed.

What You Need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience: 2 years of equivalent experience as a packaging maintenance mechanic, mechanical maintenance mechanic, or electrical maintenance mechanic.

Pay Details: 30.90 per hour
