LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Automation Engineer for our client in Skokie, IL. This full-time direct hire position is fully on-site.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing automated systems and machinery, troubleshooting to resolve issues, maintaining robotics systems, and provide training and support to staff. This would be a good fit for an applicant with a background in PLC programming and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

· Design and maintain automation systems, including developing PLC programs, testing and implementation

· Program robotic systems

· Create and update documentation for all automation systems

· Parter with other teams to improve efficiency

· Provide training and support on automated systems

· Perform regular maintenance and updates

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Bilingual proficiency preferred

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Background in PLC programing and robotics

· Proficiency with PLC platforms, robotic systems, and automation software

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to explain technical information effectively

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
