Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Packaging Systems: Develop and implement packaging systems and processes for plastic products manufactured using plastic extrusion.
  • Optimize Packaging Workflow: Identify areas for improvement in the packaging workflow and introduce automation solutions to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Program and Maintain Industrial Automation Controls: Program and maintain industrial automation controls (PLC, HMI, SCADA) to optimize packaging machinery and ensure seamless operation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to assess packaging needs and ensure effective system integration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in packaging engineering, ideally within the plastics or extrusion industry.
  • Automation and Control Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in automation and control systems programming (PLC, HMI, SCADA, etc.).
  • Industrial Automation Equipment: Hands-on experience with industrial automation equipment and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing: Experience with plastic extrusion manufacturing processes.
  • Robotics and Automated Handling: Familiarity with robotics and automated handling systems for packaging.
