Bookkeeper

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Castle Rock, Colorado. This role is within the construction industry and will require the successful candidate to handle customer applications, maintain customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. The workplace is flexible and will require the incumbent to perform a variety of tasks related to bookkeeping and data entry. This is a part-time role up to 30 hours per week Must have construction experience.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintenance of precise customer credit records
• Handling inquiries from customers and resolving any issues or concerns
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when needed
• Performing bookkeeping tasks and account reconciliation
• Managing accounts payable
• Data entry tasks as required
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various tasks
• Operating ComputerEase software for specific tasks
• Ensuring all transactions and processes are in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Possess a minimum of one year experience in bookkeeping or a related field• Proficient in account reconciliation
• Familiar with accounts payable (AP) processes
• Demonstrates strong data entry skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial calculations and data management
• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management
• Proficiency in using ComputerEase for construction accounting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make sound financial decisions
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
