Central Business Office Supervisor Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate closely with the Central Business Office Director to direct and organize activities of the Central Business Office.

* Coordinate billing and collection procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing.

* Maintain accounts receivable at an acceptable level, ensuring efficient cash flow management.

* Monitor and record time and attendance records to optimize productivity.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with semi-annual reporting.

* Provide support to staff in resolving billing issues and handle billing complaints effectively.

* Participate in meetings as required and contribute to the development of worklists and work assignments.

**Qualifications:**

* Requires strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages, as well as bookkeeping skills in debit/credit functions.

* Must possess good judgment, effective communication skills, and logical decision-making abilities, typically acquired through completion of a high school education.

* Previous experience in patient accounts or billing is preferred.
