LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in the Indianapolis area to find a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Accurately collect and input patient information, including personal, insurance, and billing details.

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.

  • Manage patient admissions, including scheduling appointments and coordinating services.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate department.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws.

  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a patient-facing role or healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus.

  • Proficiency in computer systems and experience with patient registration software is preferred.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
