LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in the Indianapolis area to find a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
Accurately collect and input patient information, including personal, insurance, and billing details.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
Manage patient admissions, including scheduling appointments and coordinating services.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a patient-facing role or healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus.
Proficiency in computer systems and experience with patient registration software is preferred.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
