We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in the Healthcare industry, based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing office operations, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also be expected to utilize your skills in Healthcare Administration and Electronic Medical Records.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.

• Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.

• Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.

• Coordinate and plan office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.

• Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting, and project planning and management processes.

• Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.

• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.

• Utilize medical office management skills to ensure smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

• Manage electronic medical record systems to ensure accurate and timely patient care.

• Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Epic EMR systems.
• Experience in healthcare administration and managing medical offices.
• Knowledge of Health Information Management (HIM) practices.
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols.
• Strong organizational and managerial skills to ensure smooth office operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with medical professionals and patients.
• Ability to adhere to healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle office-related challenges.
• Ability to manage office inventory and procurement of supplies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks.
• Ability to handle patient queries, appointment scheduling, and coordination.
• Experience in managing office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
