Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for the 2024/2025 fiscal year. As a School BCBA, you will provide behavioral support and services to students with autism and other behavioral disorders. This role requires expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students.
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to students in various settings, including classrooms, resource rooms, and specialized programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions and support strategies.
  • Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address behavioral and social-emotional needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Conduct staff and parent training sessions on behavioral interventions and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, interventions, and services provided.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral support services in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, intervention strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying current with industry trends.
