Restaurant General Manager to oversee operations and deliver world-class service to its members and guests.

Position Overview

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be the driving force behind all aspects of the club’s food and beverage operations. From fostering an exceptional dining experience to maintaining a thriving, engaged team, you’ll leverage your entrepreneurial mindset and industry expertise to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Operations:
  • Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the member experience.
  • Team Development & HR Management:
  • Recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent to maintain a strong, motivated team.
  • Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and employee relations with professionalism and care.
  • Cultivate a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, growth, and excellence.
  • Member Engagement & Communication:
  • Build strong relationships with members, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Act as the face of the restaurant, ensuring member satisfaction and addressing feedback effectively.
  • Financial Acumen:
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Partner with leadership to meet financial goals and identify areas for growth and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven success in a General Manager or similar leadership role, ideally in a full-service upscale casual restaurant or private club setting.
  • People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a natural relationship builder.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A creative thinker who can identify opportunities, implement improvements, and drive results.
  • HR Strength: Solid knowledge of HR best practices, including recruitment, training, and employee development.
  • Education: Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus.
