Facilities Manager

LHH is seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Manager for a 30-week temporary assignment to oversee and enhance the functionality, safety, and sustainability of our facilities. The ideal candidate will manage maintenance operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and optimize the use of resources while providing excellent service to our staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
- Manage daily maintenance to keep facilities in great condition.
- Schedule regular inspections and repairs.
Vendor Management:
- Work with external contractors for specialized services.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure quality service.
Budget Management:
- Help develop and manage the facilities budget.
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all safety regulations and building codes are followed.
- Conduct safety audits and implement necessary changes.
Space Management:
- Assess space usage and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate office moves and furniture arrangements.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Create and implement emergency plans.
- Train staff on safety and emergency procedures.
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Promote environmentally friendly practices.
- Implement energy-saving measures.
Team Collaboration:
- Work with other departments to meet facility needs.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
