Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The position involves assembling customized trailers, including wheels, axles, lights, and other customer-supplied parts. You will work with various hand and power tools, follow blueprints, and ensure each trailer meets the customer's specifications. This role offers the opportunity for growth, cross-training, and learning in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble wheels, axles, lights, and other parts onto trailers after welding and painting.
  • Install engines, pumps, and other customer-supplied parts on built trailers.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, impact and torque wrenches.
  • Follow blueprints to customize trailers for each client.
  • Operate a forklift to move trailers or parts to and from the work area as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Prior mechanic experience working on trucks, cars, or equipment.
  • Experience with assembly processes and basic shop drawings.
  • Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in a trailer, truck, auto, or similar shop.
  • Hobby or interest in working on vehicles or other mechanical projects.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large weld and fabrication shop with dedicated areas for painting, assembly, and machining. The environment is clean for a welding shop, and the company manufactures industrial trailers for a diverse range of customers. The work can be fast-paced and requires a strong attention to detail. This position is open due to company growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00
