Elwood Staffing is partnering with Vestas to hire Production Team Members who play a crucial role in the assembly of Nacelles.

Vestas Nacelles Production Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $21.00 to $30.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Various shifts available (Monday through Thursday)
  • Direct Hire position $21.25 to $30.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available Various shifts available (Monday through Thursday from 05:00pm to 03:30pm & 5:00am - 3:30pm)
  • Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
  • Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
  • Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed.
  • Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
  • Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
  • Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
  • Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.

Vestas Nacelles Production Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • A minimum of 2 years of Machinery, Skilled Trades, or Manufacturing experience Experience working with large machinery.
  • Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
  • Mechanical Aptitude Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
