Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor   

Schedule: 5:30 am to 2:00 pm M-F 

Salary Range: $18-$30 per hour

Responsibilities: 

  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications while following provided work instructions.  

  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.  

  • For Electrical tasks, the ability to strip and wire according to panel drawings 

  • Maintains logs, records, and reports data concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.  

  • Comply with all safety guidelines and use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).  

  • Maintains various assembly equipment as well as other machinery and holds the ability to perform basic repairs when needed.  

  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.  

  • Responsible for ensuring the product meets or exceeds established product specifications and quality standards.  

  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.  

  • Performs other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the organization.     

Required Qualifications: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • At least six months of experience in construction, distribution, or manufacturing required 

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age 

  • Basic math and reasoning skills  

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.  

  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Self-motivated and self-directed 

  • Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision 

  • Experience operating a forklift
