Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk for a temporary, possibly temp-to-hire position in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment. This role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and providing support to the accounting team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of invoices, expense reports, and payments into the accounting system.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure proper approvals are obtained before processing.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain organized records and support documentation for audit purposes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with 10-key assessment is required.
  • Oracle experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background.
