Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Flowery Branch, GA
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role: ProCare Therapy is thrilled to offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position in Flowery Branch, GA. Join a supportive team and play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills for early elementary students, including those in SEL development classes.

Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time position in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.
  • Setting: Onsite, delivering essential speech therapy services at an elementary school.
  • Focus: Assisting early elementary students, including those in SEL development classes.
  • Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of around 45 students.

What You'll Do:

  • Therapy Services: Deliver therapy sessions with a focus on meeting the unique needs of each student.
  • Manage Caseload: Provide individualized attention to approximately 45 students, including those in SEL development classes.
  • Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide comprehensive support.
  • Monitor Progress: Document and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
  • Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

A Day in the Life: Start your day with a warm welcome from your colleagues and students. Mornings might include delivering tailored therapy sessions to early elementary students, including those in SEL development classes. During lunch, collaborate with teachers and parents to discuss strategies and progress. Continue with therapy sessions and planning in the afternoon. Conclude each day knowing you've made a significant impact.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia.
  • Experience: Experience in school settings preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage with diverse student populations.
  • Commitment: Dedication to enhancing students' speech and language skills.
