Job Title: Human Resources Assistant I
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: M-F 8am- 5pm
Location: Modesto California
Salary Range: $52000.00 - $62000.00
Role and Responsibilities:
Human Resources Assistant who is not only customer service focused but also capable of working independently with a professional
attitude. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and grow with the company and have a keen eye for detail. Their primary
responsibilities will include handling confidential day-to-day information, ensuring compliance, recruitment and onboarding,
employee benefits administration, and other Human Resources services for its employees.
Work experience requirements:
· Overall knowledge of employment law and practices.
· Possess an understanding of applicant tracking, interviewing, and onboarding processes. Experience working with staffing
agencies, career fairs and hiring events and job boards is a plus.
· Experience in benefits administration preferred.
· Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Word, Excel and Outlook.
· The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively to perform the designated duties via oral
and written communication.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain cooperative team building relationships in a positive manner with
management, supervisors, co-workers, Federal and State personnel.
· Ability to deal tactfully with human issues with colleagues and customers.
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
· Ability to identify priorities and shift responsibilities to meet deadlines.
· The successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced multi task environment that requires quick problem solving and
research skills.
· High level of confidentiality and discretion
· Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
