Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Newton, North Carolina area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating munication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve munication skills, articulation, fluency, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and munication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- IEP experience is preferred but not reuqired
- Experience with AAC devices
